The Summer Term
The children have settled in well on their return from the Half Term break. As ever, the staff and children are working hard and enjoying all the benefits of our school. It is a very busy term for all at the school with Year 2 and 6 SATS, school trips and our re-scheduled Arts Week to fit in.
Here are some dates for you to make a note of concerning the next half term:
On Monday 8th June the all of the children will be having their photo taken for a 'Whole School' picture. Our re-scheduled Arts Week is also taking place between the 8th-12th June and if you are able to help out in class during this week please let your child's teacher know, as all help is very much appreciated.
Sports Day will be held on Wednesday 24th June, with the Juniors races starting at 9.30am and the Infants at 1.45pm.
The Annual Summer Fete will take place on Saturday 27th June from 1pm until 4pm. Please see the PTA page for more information about this popular event.
On Monday 6th July the children will receive their school reports. The following week, on Monday 13th July, they then get to meet their new teacher and on that evening we will be holding a Parents Evening where children bring their parent to view their work over the last academic year and visit their new class.
The Year 6 production this year is Mary Poppins and will take place on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July from 7pm.
On Friday 10th July the PTA will be running the now much anticipated Family BBQ from 6-10pm on the school field - again please visit the PTA page for more information.
On Wednesday 15th July our Year 6 pupils will have their leaving party between 2-4pm and on Friday 17th July the school will close for the summer holidays at 2pm.
We return to school on Monday 7th September.
