I attended the five week Family Cookery course with my son Tom (Year 6), nine other families and Mrs Parker. All the ingredients and utensils were provided for us free of charge.
Each week Claire, the CALAT (Croydon Adult Learning and Training) tutor began by briefly discussing different aspects of healthy eating such as how much salt and fat we should eat and the importance of looking carefully at and understanding food labels.
