Year 2 had an interesting workshop today and learnt about the Great Plague and The Great Fire of London.  We played games, role played different characters and learnt new facts.

We had an Anglo Saxon man in and then created our Anglo Saxon music using ukuleles.  

Thank you to one of our families for representing the school at the service at St John’s Church.  

Year 2 children had a fantastic hospital day. We met Florence Nightingale and looked at some interesting artefacts and role played soldiers and nurses in the Crimean War.  In the afternoon we did some hospital role play.
